Summary

* Duration: 14 hours *

Not everyone managed to survive the bloody battle。 The strong, the brave, the courageous, and the good all fell with honor。 The war spared few and took away many of the best。。。

Hadjar Darkhan was one of the few who survived and is now ready to continue his journey。 The battle is over, and the dead have been sent on their last journey。 The unknown and the perils of the imminent war are still waiting for Hadjar。 He can sense that his life is about to be filled with the clang of weapons and armor and the beating of war drums。 He hates war! But he also longs for it。。。 Is there anything worse than war and battle?

Maybe… The endless political maneuvering of the two Empires, which they are trying to draw Hadjar into, is definitely not what he needs right now, especially after losing his loyal companion and true friend in battle。 A friend he realized he had only after his death…

Wow!I'm glad I waited to read this book, because with that ending I would be too anxious to do anything if I couldn't find out what happened next。 Wow!I'm glad I waited to read this book, because with that ending I would be too anxious to do anything if I couldn't find out what happened next。 。。。more

KU Review “This was a fun book。 I am glad that I read it。 You should try it too。”I am not going to share my reasoning, thoughts on the book, or any opinions that would influence your decision to read it。 I am simply saying that I liked it。 I would like you to read it and make your own decision。 After all, you are a much better judge of what you will like than anyone here。I will happily discuss the book with you on Goodreads if you are so inclined。 As always, I am open to debates and arguments, b KU Review “This was a fun book。 I am glad that I read it。 You should try it too。”I am not going to share my reasoning, thoughts on the book, or any opinions that would influence your decision to read it。 I am simply saying that I liked it。 I would like you to read it and make your own decision。 After all, you are a much better judge of what you will like than anyone here。I will happily discuss the book with you on Goodreads if you are so inclined。 As always, I am open to debates and arguments, but also vain enough to seek acknowledgement, so feel free to roast me or applaud my efforts。 Either is acceptable, because if you are paying attention to me then you are at least considering the book。 And THAT my friends is exactly why you see my comments here。Cheers 。。。more

Really enjoyable series。One of my favorite series that I'm reading right now。 I love the world that the author has created。 And I'm very impressed with the consistent translations。 The prose flow very well and don't break or ruin immersion as I often find in translated works, definitely not an issue with these books。 Love it。 Keep up the great work! Another good addition。 The first quarter of the book was very interesting and introduced some intriguing plot lines。 The problem was that we blew right through the plot line。 Because this book is part of a serialization, every chapter tries to be ground breaking。 Rarely do things have time to marinate and develop。 This series is also in dire need of an appendix outlining the levels of cultivation, techniques, beasts, weapons and armor。 Certain levels are constantly thrown out there but it is rea Another good addition。 The first quarter of the book was very interesting and introduced some intriguing plot lines。 The problem was that we blew right through the plot line。 Because this book is part of a serialization, every chapter tries to be ground breaking。 Rarely do things have time to marinate and develop。 This series is also in dire need of an appendix outlining the levels of cultivation, techniques, beasts, weapons and armor。 Certain levels are constantly thrown out there but it is really hard to follow what they mean in the grand scheme of things。 The best part of the book is that Hadgar’s neural network actually works and plays a big role。 。。。more

Great Shows a path that is eerily similar to the one we ourselves have to choose every day on earth shows a wisdom tough to see but beautiful to read。

A lot of action in this installmentEnjoyed this book very much。 It was much more fast paced than previous chapters and packed with growth for Hadjar along his journey。 Looking forward to book 12。

WowMy god this series is amazing。 It’s an epic to end all other epics。 If you read litrpg or even fantasy and don’t read this series I don’t know what your doing with your life。My only very slight issue and it isn’t really a problem is I would love a real quick over view of the last book at the beginning of the new book…。。 I always have to read the previous book again…。 Like I said that’s a good problem hahaha

WonderfulThis series just keeps getting better and better。 Everything from the main character to the history and stories told in the series is so captivating。

Quite a journey, but I believe this is my stop。 I was halfway through the book, and Hadjar was standing on a mountain shouting, and blowing things up, and slaughtering just crowds and crowds of people, and I thought, hold on, why’s he doing this? And then - this is the important part - I thought, ah, who cares。 So I stopped reading。 I just don’t care any more。 Good luck to the rest of you。 Maybe it’ll all make sense some day。

Beat series ever。 I reread the previous 10 books in anticipation of this books release。 It was worth every second I spent reading the series again。 What I wouldn’t give to be able to read the remainder of this book series in its entirety。

Bloody brilliant!!! Kirill continues to produce an exciting, fast paced roller coaster of a book。 There is never a dull moment in the book and the characters are complex and wonderfully fleshed out。。。 If u haven't read the earlier books I urge u to drop everything and start at the beginning, u won't be disappointed Bloody brilliant!!! And so the story continues !!!This is a great book !! Thank you for writing it。 I enjoyed it very much I was a little worried if the story would slow after the last book but the pace and intensity was tremendous I look forward to the next one

Aargh that cliff Brilliant writing as before。 I really liked the levelling up scenes。 Lots of poignant scenes as well unlike most other books in the past。 Hope there is a way to undo all this at the end。 Looking forward to reading the next book。 This cliffhanger at the end is the ‘cliffiest’ one so far 。。

An epic seriesOne of the best series I’ve read in a long time, with a protagonist that I’ve never once disliked his decision。I eagerly await the next book。

Fantastic story A great next part of the epic series, with fighting and powerful abilities and intrigue that shows how different points connect to make a better story and more knowledgeable character。

Worth readingThis series has been one of my favorite cultivation novels for some time。 Unlike some translated novels this one is pretty easy to read and the translation actually seems to be getting better with time。 Of the series to date I can say without shame that this one made me shedd a tear but I wont say why so as to avoid spoilers。 So if you like a bit of epic cultivation style fantasy I'd give this one a shot。 Worth readingThis series has been one of my favorite cultivation novels for some time。 Unlike some translated novels this one is pretty easy to read and the translation actually seems to be getting better with time。 Of the series to date I can say without shame that this one made me shedd a tear but I wont say why so as to avoid spoilers。 So if you like a bit of epic cultivation style fantasy I'd give this one a shot。 。。。more

What a tripEvery book in this series seems to hit me hard in the feels。 The way the author weaves different forms of tragedy into his books is mind boggling。 The translator did a fantastic job as well

The best fantasy book I’ve read Gripping, this is the 11th book i’ve read and i can’t wait for more。 The story is planned out so well。 Praise to the writer

Greatness!!This might just be the greatest epic fantasy series ever written, and it is only halfway done。 It has cultivation, progression and litrpg all in one story。 With deaths and lives worth living and dying for。 This series has excellent long term plots that make a reader not want to put it down。 For me Krill has written a masterpiece that is up there with Tolkien, Jordan, Martin and Erikson!!!

Adam Blackwood

Great seriesIt’s easy to forget where this series started and where it is now。 The power creep is very gradual but important。 This entry in the series closes some open threads left over from the last few books。 It hints at some more major changes but does end on a bit of a cliffhanger。 Can’t wait for the next book。
